Happy Birthday Winged Warrior

EDIT: I added a background. I have been meaning to so I don't know why I didn't make one before. It only took a couple of minutes since it was a basic background. Ah well.

This is why I've been so busy the past week and a half!

I know I should be working on the sketches but 's birthday was on June 20th, and and I decided two weeks prior to make her an epic birthday gift. We agreed on making a birthday drawing, but of what? That's when we agreed on drawing four of her characters along with our own as if they all got together to throw her a big birthday party!

Since this was a collaboration, Mira and I decided to half the picture and draw our characters on their respected sides and come together in the middle by holding a piece of cake. My part is on the right, starting with Winged's original superhero character, Black Ice, followed by her night elf huntress (who is an ex-sentinel!) Tavari, then my original character Litta Cleerstorm and Lurena, my troll rogue, at the end. Jumping up in the middle is Rydia from Final Fantasy IV. I just had to throw her in there because, well, WHY NOT! Haha. And I'm hiding behind Litta's dress because I'm worried there's not going to be enough cake, hahaha!

On Mira's side, there's Winged's original character Kayla, then her draenai Shyera, then Mira's original character Kittie-Kat and her night elf Mirasilver. You can see Mira hiding behind her OC Kittie-Kat too.

This was definitely a HUGE labor of love. It took me forever to ink my part because I had to find refs for some of the poses. I actually had to cut back on some of the details because I kept putting in too much. Tavari's loin cloth was actually this HUGE ornate thing but I decided last minute not to ink in all of the stuff, which I kind of regret now because the loin cloth looks stupid, but oh well. I'm not happy with Black Ice either; something's wrong with her butt. lol. But it's done now and Winged was actually very happy with this so I'm glad she liked it.

Okay! I do need to give some credit to some stock because I used a couple of stocks to make the outfits more lively on my side of the collab:

This was approximately about...20 hours of work on my part? I know my part looks like absolute s#%t but I tried really hard to make it look good. There are still some mistakes (yes I know I forgot to color a few white spots in on Tavari's armor) but this is it for now!

Made in Photoshop CS3 with a Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet, approximately 20 hours.
