So, May had a rockin' start for me. I had the opportunity to meet Lacuna Coil, one of my favorite metal bands! I got a great deal on VIP tickets and got to hang out with them before the show. It was one of the best shows I've ever seen in my life, and I've been to a lot of metal shows! They were so nice to me! It was genuinely a great experience. I wrote about it on my tumblr though, so I won't bore you folks with all the details! Essentially, Lacuna Coil is an amazing band through and through, and if you haven't listened to them yet, you really should!

I still got a lot of work ahead of me to finish, but work has been crazy! Between working at the video game store and the ad agency, as well as maintaining the house, my drawing time has been reduced to sketches, which is SUPER BAD because I NEED TO FINISH that Zerachiel drawing for my husband before his birthday. It's on May 26th! AHHH will I be doomed to failure again? I hate to disappoint him. :/

Also, I have to say, I am really enjoying tumblr. It's great following some of my favorite artists on there. However, a lot of the blogs I follow reblog a lot of stuff that I have no interest in or really don't care too much about, so I'm constantly scrolling. Ah well, that's what tumblr is all about. Scroll, scroll, scroll...

And, can I just mention that is super awesome? 'Cause, yanno, he is. <3 Thanks for always keeping deviantArt fun for me, yo!

OH. I must mention that in April, I finally watched the entire series of Avatar: The Last Airbender. I EVEN WATCHED THE M. NIGHT. MOVIE. Why I did that to myself, I don't know, but at that point I figured I had to follow the same path as the rest of the fans, despite how late I was to it! I've since bought some of the comics that take place after the show and it's really great. I'm enjoying Korra now too. YES.

Man, a lot of the time when I post a blog, I usually say something like, "gonna try and make more art!" I KEEP TRYING. I REALLY DO.
